UNDERDOG TO WONDERDOG follows Animal Planet’s very own “Wonder-team” on their heartwarming journey as they rescue abandoned down-on-their-luck stray dogs, rehabilitate, train, groom, primp and pamper them before finally finding them a loving family and a place to call home. With a rescuer, trainer, groomer and yes, even a canine carpenter, the Wonder-team is ready to take on whatever challenges they might find.
What they soon learn is that these extreme pooch makeovers are no walk in the park.
And as they take it all on, they each find they’ve all got some serious obstacles to conquer! There are dogs with behavioral problems, matted homeless dogs living on the streets, untrained dogs and booby-trapped back yards in so-called “doggy dream homes”–no matter the dog or situation, each member of the doggy dream team has their work cut out for them in order to give the pup the Cinderella story it deserves! Not only is the team out to give the puppies a new chance at life, they work tirelessly to find the family that has the most to gain by welcoming a new furry friend into their hearts and homes.
